My millions, ok thousands, ok hundreds...oh alright, my mom and aunt have been asking when I was going to update the site, so here I am. I am going to start off by making an excuse that I hope most people will understand. In addition to being an international blogger (international aspirations that is) I am also in grad school. I'm currently pursuing an MBA. So if I miss a few days, or in the most recent case a few weeks, please don't give up on me, just keep checking out the site. I figure if you check it out once a week it won't cost you anything but a few clicks of the mouse, and just think you make get some good information, if I have any posted.
Seriously, my intentions for the site is to update it at least once per week with the latest political, sports and entertainment news. Over the last five years, or so I have morphed into a political hack and have long followed professional sports, so I figured since everyone isn't as tuned in to these things as I am I can become a medium for people to get the latest info. All I ask is that you keep coming back. As it stands I have three staunch supporters mom, aunt Dawn, and my good buddy Genya. The good news is that you all were the first ones on the band wagon the bad news is that you may end up being the only ones one there. Anyhow, enjoy the ride, and keep coming back and be sure to post a comment if you have an opinion about something you read or saw. Oh by the way, tell all of your friends and family to check out the site. http://onestoptalk.blogspot.com
Thanks!

The Day After
Today feels like Christmas. I'll post my personal views after it all sinks in. In the meantime, here are some of the best articles from today.
President Elect Obama already made his first decision as our nation’s leader.
There is a link between Dr. King, President Obama and Chicago.
How President Obama made History .
Will the nations first minority president help make race a moot point in America?

President Obama
It's official! Barack Obama is the President elect of the United States of America. Oh my Goodness!
The Mac is back
John McCain just gave an impassioned speech in Colorado. It is likely one of his last of the campaign. I love his new line, "They might not know but the Mac is back." He actually got me fired up with that one. He should have been using this narrative for the past three months.
Obama votes
I am watching Barack and Michelle Obama vote. MSNBC's morning talk show Morning Joe is running live footage. It must be alot on the ballot in Chicago because it took them about ten minutes to cast their ballots. What a feeling that must be to cast a ballot for yourself as president of the United States of America.
Rev. Wright to the rescue?
Last night a political action committee began, yes they just began the night before the election, running a television commercial featuring Reverand Jeremiah Wright's greatest hits. Of course they had to include a segment of his most controversial sermon in which he espoused the famously divisive line, "Not God bless America God damn America." The ad goes on to say that Obama is "To Radical." As of the close of all national polls McCain is way, way down in the polls. Perhaps if the republican party had decided to roll this out earlier in the campaign it may have had some traction, but to me it seems like the absolute last ditch effort to upset history.
